Welcome to Paradise!

Hello, my name is Shawana and I am the founder and owner of Paradise Pomade & Oil. We are a new business trying to leave a ray of sunshine in the world!

Paradise can be defined as something that brings you peace, tranquility and happiness. Pomades are scented balms that nourish the skin and hair. Paradise Pomade & Oil hopes to bring happiness, nourishment and so much more to all who use our products!

Paradise Pomade & Oil started off as an idea for a class project, in which I had to create a hypothetical pop-up shop. I wanted to create something product based, unique and personable. Thus the idea for Paradise Pomade & Oil was born!


I've always made my own shea butter since I have sensative skin and break out easily. Fragrance oils are something that I've always been around since my older brother Nigel use to sell them on the side faithfully. He passed away back in 2012 and its hard to believe its been 10 years since he's been gone. (Pictured Above.) During the process of turning Paradise Pomade & Oil, from class project into an actual business, I decided that this would be my way of picking up where my brother left off. I want to pay homage to who he was as a person, his work ethic, skills and talents. Selling fragrance oils was his side hustle, but Paradise Pomade & Oil is my own way to expand upon that and then some!

With all that being said, Paradise Pomade & Oil wants to offer our customers much more than just smelling good. We want to create unique products that encompasses the idea of what Paradise is for everyone!
